owner - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Kristy from NJ - April 24 - 2:00 amIt runs well but I think the engine is loud when sitting inside. I just bought the car and I have some trouble adjusting the front seats. Its very roomy inside and looks good on the outside.

Pleasing - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Pimpsterrific - April 19 - 10:00 amThe Sante Fe drives just like a car. I can manuever it like I did with my previous compact car. I was surprised at the fact that i didnt have to "adjust" to driving a larger vehicle.

Has anyone gone in snad? Help! - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By karenh - April 19 - 10:00 amOverall, I think my new car is great. I have 2500 miles and all is well. been through a few snowstorms and the car handled great. One problem: One reason that I purchased a 4wd vehicle was because I live on Cape Cod, MA in the summer. The dealership told me that I should have no trouble going on Cape beaches with the 4wd system. I took it out today and I did not feel comfortable at all. I felt that I was going to get stuck the entire time. I didnt get stuck, however, is this how 4wd is supposed to feel? The engine also smellled funny when I got back on hard pavement, like it had been working too hard.

By Radio Diva - November 20 - 1:03 amI have had my new Santa Fe for about a month now. I had driven one several years back, I bought it for the warrenty and gas mileage. I had a Tahoe and that didnt cut it. I LOVE IT! Its fun, zippy, and you cant beat heated seats and a sunroof, 10 year 100K bumper to bumper all for $22K !!! I have had no problems.

My 1st brand new truck - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By HisWife - September 22 - 2:00 amI bought my Santa Fe in May of 2003. My first new truck from a dealership. I was so excited. I drove home and it was making a hissing sound under the hood. Called the next day, the told me I can bring it there in 2 weeks. I was so upset. Brand new car making noise for 2 weeks. Turns out it was a bad belt. Ok, this is a beautiful little truck. I do enjoy it. Its reliable and drives nicely. The only complaint I have and I see others have is that there is absolutely NO pick up.

Hyundai in Florida - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By memullady - July 31 - 10:00 amAlthough I have only owned this vehicle a few months, I am very satisfied so far. At this point my only complaint has been some hesitation and jerkiness when accelerating from a rolling start or sometimes from a standing start. This may have something to do with the electronic accelerator linkage. Mind you, I have not reported this to the dealer at this time, as the vehicle is hardly broken in and the vehicle is primarily driven in town. The vehicle is comfortable for me even though I am a large person at over 6 ft tall. I am still waiting for some gas milage improvement.

Happily Surprised - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Mountain Family - March 31 - 10:36 amWe traded in a fully loaded 5.9ltr Dodge Durango for the Sante Fe because of the rising fuel costs. We own an Elantra and are very happy so far with Hyundai products. We were very happy with our decision, though I miss the manliness of the Durango. I dont miss driving the Durango to the gas station every other day. My wife and I were surprised at how well the Sante Fe handles in the snow. It is, dare I say, the best handling 4x4 I have ever owned, and I have owned everthing from jeeps to trucks. Our model has traction control as an option, and my only major complaint is that it is no fun to drive in the snow because it just goes and goes. It is not squirrely to drive like my jeep was.
